Believe Be Real Be Bold: Podcast with Lauren Dow on Eating Disorders

by | Jul 13, 2020 | Eating Disorder Recovery, Mental Health, Personal Growth, Relationships | 0 comments

I’m so honored and grateful to share with all of you that I was asked to be a guest on a podcast about relationships called Believe Be Real Be Bold.

Throughout the podcast, we open a dialogue about my eating disorder story, the road to recovery, authenticity, vulnerability, and how all of this can dramatically impact the relationships we have in our lives.

I encourage you to listen and share with one other person today.

It’s important that we work together to continue the conversation on mental illness to help educate and destigmatize, allowing for others to not feel so alone.

As an added bonus, you’ll get to hear my sing a song I wrote called “You Are Not Alone” which is about exactly that. We are all living in these unprecedented times and regardless of what your particular story is, you are not alone.

Meet the Author

Hey, I’m Lauren Dow. Author, advocate, and feeler of the big feels. I’m here to provide a safe space to normalize the conversation about mental health and reinforce self-love. Thanks for joining me on this wild ride.

I Was Vulnerable For the Wrong Reasons

I Was Vulnerable For the Wrong Reasons

Traveling opened up the window for my vulnerabilities to jump out of. It forced me to confront issues like an oncoming truck. If I didn’t move myself from the middle of the road, I would collide with the semi and that’d be the end of me.
